FRACKING: Dalton’s Inactions Speak Louder Than His Words

RALEIGH, NC – NCGOP Executive Director Scott Laster had this to say,

“Lt. Governor Dalton is pulling another move out of Governor Perdue’s 2008 campaign playbook. After failing to distance himself from the Governor during the first debate, the Lt. Governor is trying desperately to distance himself from the unpopular current administration any way he can.

Today’s flip-flop on energy exploration is more proof that Lt. Governor Dalton will say and do anything to get elected during the campaign. The fact is that over the past 3 years, the Perdue-Dalton team has done nothing to promote energy exploration and production in North Carolina, whether it be fracking or offshore drilling. But now that an election is coming up, the people of North Carolina are supposed to believe that the Lt. Governor has had a sudden change of heart?

Actions speak louder than words, but in Dalton’s case, maybe we should say it’s his inaction on domestic energy exploration that speaks louder than his words.”
