RALEIGH, NC – Today it has been reported that the DNC is $27 Million short of their Convention fundraising goal, and they have moved their featured kick-off event from the Speedway to Charlotte.

NCGOP Communications Director Rob Lockwood had this to say, “While the DNC pretends like their Convention isn’t a complete mess, they forgot that their move from the Speedway has a negative impact on small businesses in Concord. They claimed that they are moving to give attendees ‘a taste of the convention,’ but how can you give taste to a move that was tasteless?”
